Currently Seeking: Social Studies Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver well‑structured lessons aligned with the US curriculum

• Create a positive, student‑centred learning environment that supports individual progress

• Use a range of assessment strategies to track learning and provide clear feedback

• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities

• Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and curiosity across all subject areas

• Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues

• Contribute to school events, enrichment activities, and year‑group initiatives

• Maintain accurate records and support the school’s reporting processes

• Participate in professional development and contribute to ongoing school improvement

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree

• PGCE or QTS or US State Licence

• Minimum of 3 years of full‑time teaching experience

• Strong knowledge of the US curriculum

• Commitment to inclusive teaching practices and student wellbeing

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural team

Nice to Have

• Experience teaching in an international school setting

• Familiarity with supporting students who are English language learners

• Involvement in extracurricular or after‑school programmes
