Elementary Science Lead

Location: Hanoi, Vietnam

Byron Recruitment is seeking committed, student‑focused educators to join partner international and bilingual schools in Hanoi.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and student learning goals

• Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports students of varying abilities and backgrounds

• Assess student learning through a range of formative and summative methods

• Provide clear, constructive feedback to support academic and personal growth

• Use student data to guide instructional decisions and enhance learning outcomes

• Work collaboratively with grade‑level and subject teams on curriculum planning and instructional practices

• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress

• Participate in professional development, team meetings, and school community events

• Support extracurricular activities as required

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a degree directly related to the teaching subject

• Certified teaching licence (for example: PGCE, QTS or equivalent)

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience

• Strong classroom management and the ability to foster positive student relationships

• Proficiency in spoken and written English

Nice to Have

• Experience teaching in international or bilingual school environments

• Familiarity with international curricula such as Cambridge, IB, or American programs

• Ability to integrate educational technology into teaching and assessment
