About the Role

The Computer Science Teacher will guide students through the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), helping them build strong analytical, computational, and problem‑solving skills. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about inspiring learners, shaping curriculum, and supporting students as they take on challenging academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach IBDP Computer Science, ensuring lessons align with IB standards and learning objectives

  • Develop engaging learning experiences that build students’ coding, computational thinking, and analytical skills

  • Support students through the Internal Assessment process, providing clear guidance and feedback

  • Use a variety of assessment methods to track student progress and adjust instruction when needed

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the overall Computer Science and STEM curriculum

  • Contribute to school initiatives, events, and extracurricular activities related to technology and innovation

  • Maintain a supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, inclusivity, and respect

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Teaching certification or relevant teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching IBDP Computer Science or IB programmes

  • Strong knowledge of programming concepts and computational thinking

  • Ability to create clear, structured lessons that support diverse learners

Nice to Have

  • Experience teaching other Computer Science or STEM subjects

  • Familiarity with additional programming languages or emerging technologies

  • Experience working in an international school setting

  • Background in student mentorship, clubs, or technology-focused extracurriculars
