Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Academic Director to oversee the academic departments of our educational institutions in various locations across Malaysia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the academic programs, curriculum development, and academic personnel. The candidate must have strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication skills, and a passion for education.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement academic policies and procedures

• Manage and lead the academic departments in various locations

• Develop and oversee the academic programs, ensuring that they are in line with the institution's goals and objectives

• Develop and maintain the curriculum for all academic programs

• Ensure the academic programs are in compliance with the regulatory bodies

• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as government agencies, industry partners, and other educational institutions

• Ensure the academic personnel are performing at their best, providing training and development opportunities when necessary

• Monitor the academic department's budget and allocate resources effectively

• Ensure that the academic department's goals and objectives are aligned with the institution's goals and objectives

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the institution's goals and objectives are achieved

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in academic leadership roles

• Excellent leadership and management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• A passion for education and a commitment to academic excellence

• Familiarity with the Malaysian education system and regulatory bodies

• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and external stakeholders

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
